Alison completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Science (Pre-med) at Biola University, where she participated in multiple research projects, which allowed her to grow and develop knowledge in the field. She also had the opportunity to get involved in a genetics research lab that was studying fruit flies and their heat- shock genes, as well as a biochemistry lab which studied molecular nanomachines and their effects on biofilms and cancer cells. She then earned her Master's degree in Stem Cell Biology & Regenerative Medicine from the University of Southern California.
