Khadeja-Tul Kubra

Khadeja received her bachelor's (2016) and master's (2017) degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In 2023, she obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Louisiana Monroe, Monroe, Louisiana. During her doctoral studies, Khadeja investigated the protective effects of unfolded protein responses in lung endothelial barrier functions. She was recognized for her academic achievements with the Ted D. Price Memorial Superior Graduate Student Scholarship. In 2024, she started her research in Dr. Partha Dutta’s lab in the Vascular Medicine Institute at the University of Pittsburgh, focusing on inflammation in cardiovascular disease.
