Samantha Bryce

Samantha is a postdoctoral researcher at Carnegie Mellon University in the Lee Lab, where she recently completed her PhD in biological sciences. Her current research focuses on elucidating regulatory mechanisms of a class of ER proteins called atlastins that are differentially expressed in the kidney. Prior to her PhD, Samantha completed an MS in biology and biotechnology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where she researched gut-brain communication, and a BA in neuroscience and art history from Smith College. Outside of lab, she enjoys baking, weaving, and visiting museums.
